Our Story

Our Own Fleet, Our Own Yard

WAFCON Plant Hire runs a working plant yard at 84 Schaap Road in Philippi. From there we hire out excavators, TLBs, rollers and a telehandler to construction and civil projects across Cape Town and the wider Western Cape.

Every machine we hire out is our own, maintained in our yard and moved on our own flatbed truck. All hire is wet rate: an experienced operator is included with every machine, so you never have to source your own. Full specifications for each machine are on this site, so you can check the fit before you book.

Send us the site location, the work and your dates, and we will come back with availability and a price. If a machine is out on hire, we will tell you straight and give you the next open date.

What We Run

Our Fleet

WAFCON runs two excavators, three TLBs, two rollers and a telehandler, all maintained in our own yard and moved with our own flatbed truck.

2 Excavators

A 5.5-ton Volvo EC55B Pro for tight-access work, and a 21.5-ton JCB JS205LC for bulk earthworks.

3 TLBs

A Volvo BL61B, CASE 580T and SDLG B877, covering digging, loading and backfilling.

2 Rollers

Sit-on rollers for compaction on roads, driveways and construction sites.

1 Telehandler

A Manitou MT1340 SLT for lifting and placing material up to 13.0 m.
